How to Use: These practical instructions show how to incorporate Tea Tree essential oil into everyday routines for maximum benefits;
1. Aromatherapy: Add a few drops of Tea Tree essential oil, to a diffuser or an oil burner to fill the room with fragrance while dissipating the therapeutic benefits of the oil. Alternatively, you can inhale the scent directly from the bottle or place a few drops on a tissue and breathe in deeply for therapeutic benefits.
2. Skincare: Mix 2-5 drops of essential oil in 1 teaspoon of a carrier oil (2-5% dilution). Apply the mixture to the skin to help with skin ailments. Perform a patch test on inner elbow to ensure there’s no skin sensitivity.
3. Hair Care: Combine essential oils with a carrier oil (2-5% dilution) and massage into the scalp or beard. Leave it on for 15-30 minutes before washing out. For added benefits, you can also add a few drops to your regular shampoo, conditioner, hair or beard oil.
4. Manicure and Pedicure: Dilute a few drops with a carrier oil and apply it to your nails and cuticles using a cotton swab, letting it absorb for 10-15 minutes before rinsing it or leaving it on overnight for deeper treatment.
5. Natural Cleaning: Add a few drops of Tea Tree essential oil to a container filled with water, water and vinegar or alcohol (5-20% dilution). Use this mixture to clean countertops, tiles, glass, or other surfaces. Tea Tree essential oil can also be added to laundry loads to help disinfect and add a fresh scent.
