Origin: Gel wax, also known as Jelly wax is a translucent wax with the consistency of jelly. It is created using a combination of mineral oil and polymer resin.

Uses: Gel wax is used to make realistic beverage candles like beer and soda etc. Some candle makers create “works of art” by embedding items like sand, herbs, glitter, glass embeds, wax embeds, sea shells, and fruits. Gel wax has a slow melt rate and a long burn time. Gel wax burns at least twice as long as Paraffin wax.
