Ylang Ylang essential oil is also effective against head lice and dandruff, when applied on hair. It is used in aromatherapy for treating depression, high blood pressure, and anxiety. How to Use: These practical instructions show how to incorporate Ylang Ylang essential oil into everyday routines for maximum benefits;
1. Aromatherapy: Add a few drops of Ylang Ylang essential oil, to a diffuser or an oil burner to fill the room with fragrance while dissipating the therapeutic benefits of the oil. Alternatively, you can inhale the scent directly from the bottle or place a few drops on a tissue and breathe in deeply for therapeutic benefits.
2. Skincare: Mix 2-5 drops of Ylang Ylang essential oil in 1 teaspoon of a carrier oil (2-5% dilution). Apply the mixture to the skin to help with skin ailments. Perform a patch test on inner elbow to ensure there’s no skin sensitivity.
